well it's that time of year. what is everyones favorite winter food? also if willing what recipie do u use? it's deer season now and right now i am in the mood for deer jerky.
4tbsp soy sauce
4tbsp worstshire sauce
1/2 cup vinegar
2 cloves minced garlic
1tbsp onion powder
1 tsp black pepper
4tbsp salt
6tbsp brown sugar
1tsp habanjero powder
2 pounds 1/4 inch thick deer/beef slices
marinate meat overnight in refrigerator
hang in smoker at 150-200 degrees for 6-8 hours with hickory wood
to check if it is done let one piece cool and bend it. if it bends without breaking but the outside fibers break or rip the jerky is done.
