Will His Fin/tail recover?

#1
Part of betta man's gorgeous gorgeous..gorgeous..fin-tail has been ripped off.

I have NO idea how and am wondering if it will recover? I know some fins depend on how far up they are damaged. I'd say about a little less than half of his fin-tail has disappeared.

I have a filter in the tank and 3 kuhli loaches and had a few guppies. Could any of those have done it? When I first got him it was already pretty ridiculously thin/see through, I figured from being in a cup for so long and health reasons, but he's been doing great. I just noticed the tail thing.

The guppies aren't in the tank anymore, the loaches are and filter is still going..

Do you have any sharp or unsmooth decorations or driftwood in the tank? He could have caught it on just about anything. If any of the other fish in the tank were the culprit, I would say it was the guppies.

Keep his water pristine and dose the tank with API Stress Coat. Also, soak his food in Garlic Guard or juice from a jar of minced garlic (make sure it doesn't have oil in it). He should heal-up in a few days.
