I currently have combambas in my tanks. I find my self having to trim them consitently and they look horrible. I find my self always picking up the leafs and they are always floating around. I want to get some background plants that have a very full look to them, are medium or low light, and are consistent.

Liveaquaria.com lists plants by whether they are foreground, mid, or background, if you want to browse some other options (also by lighting and general difficulty).

nime is making a comback. it was going good but i had a blackbeard issue and bought some excel and was double dosing the tank. killed off all the blackbeard but pounded the val as well. now a month later after reducing to recomended levels one of my val is coming back but i think the other is toast. the one coming back has 2 new leaves coming out and it sent out a runner and it is now growing a few leaves. seems to be realy hardy in a dirted tank.
