Well water is perfectly fine. You will not need to add chemicals for them. Discus are extremely adaptable contrary to the common belief, and will fair fine with harder water. You just need to condition them slowly into it.

Get your well water tested - you probably have already done this - look for heavy metals. You may need to filter it to remove those.

Also well water is notorious for having high levels of dissolved gasses - make sure you age the water before using it.

All that Discus need is clean water with no foreign chemicals, nutritious varied food, hiding places, low light, no swift moving tank mates. I've got my discus perfectly healthy @ a pH of 8.5
Except these requirements others could be relaxed.
If u wanna b sure just aerate it for around 24 hrs.
