wavy sea wave maker

Ok, got ya. First off your stand has to be indestructible, ike a welding shop metal constructed one, wood is a poor choice!!!!!!! And the tank has to be in TOP shape. The wave maker puts a ton of stress on the tank and the stand so it all must be in top shape and secure on a hard floor. I would not use one if the tank is on carpet IMO. Not much to them when you figure the controller out and get it the waves timed just right. When the waves go back and forth they create a weight shift or transfer if you will so this is why its critical that nothing will break or topple over. I have seen many glass tanks crack because they were old, an Acrylic tank is really the only tank I would put a wave maker on because its all one piece.
