All my fish dart away when they see me approach! I have 2 jags, a dempsy, and a teaxas. Ive had the jags for awhile and the never run and hid until i put the dempsy and the texas in. Does anyone have input on this VERY frusterating behavoir?

it could be shadows spooking them when you walk near the tank. if shadows fall into the tank, that will scare the living hell out of them, try and walk real slow or try and leave the room lights on and it should be taken care of.  8) - i've had the same problem.  ;D

It has been my experience, the higher the tank - the more friendly the fish.  Conversely, the lower the tank - the more the fish act spooked.

There isn't much you can do with sizeable tanks, just MHO.
