so i got empty planted tank, i am going soon fill it up with killfish by august.
I have always been intrigued by this shrimp in tank thing, i am soon going to carpet my tank and i know i can't siphon the tank as viciously I am used to do and then i read , shrimps are great at cleaning the bottom of tank , specially carpeted tanks, so this has got me thinking.
I also know if the tank is clean and nicely settled, the shrimps will breed crazy. so i would like to own some uncommon (expensive?) shrimps, what shrimps do you guys recommend or any shrimps are good and equal at care? even RCS are getting common among hobbyist in my part of world.
those grade A and grade S crs look v v expensive, are they easy to maintain ? if i keep my tank clean and low nitrates ?
And also, do shrimps fight with live fish coming at bottom? i will be having killifish which can go aggressive and i wont mind killies getting the shrimp, i would HATE if any shrimps get the killifish.Thoughts?
