Safely lowering Flourite into a tank.

Can anyone give some suggestions on how and in what to lower my Flourite substrate into a tank thats half-full of water? I will be doing this friday and hope for someone to help me out before then...

How do i scoop it up from its soaking container (a cooler) to not create too much rubbed off dust?

Pour off most of the dust from the cooler, like your rinsing it. Remove the other half of water and add it. Then fill the tank back up.

I'm not sure there's a way to do it without turning your tank into a mud bath. It will clear up in a few days, though.

Yes there were, i have done this already in a careful way involving a spoon and a sifting pan. There was minimal dust and everything became crystal clear in about 2 hours (guess all my rinsing payed off) Thanks everyone for suggestions.
