I purchased a blue lobster from my LFS about 1-2 months ago. The lobster has been hiding a lot the last day or two. Tonight we moved the house it's hiding in, and it appears to have a clutch of eggs scooped under it's tail. Is this possible? Could it have been pregnant when we bought it and just now we are seeing the eggs? Anyone have experience with this?

it could have already been pregnant but you usually notice because their tail is curled up to hold the eggs... i know this may be to late but if not, the famale will probably not not survive, they tend to stop eating so they can focus on caring for the eggs, if you do get fry they tend to like boiled lettuce
