They're a SW member of the puffer family that live in the Caribbean.

I was skin diving in the Keys once, at the 1st set of coral heads just off of Little Palm Island. I had 12 kids with me snorkling the reef and all of a sudden, I look down, and there is this basketball-sized fish under me picking stuff off the rocks. Huge! Then it puffed out for us, and truely did look like a spikey basketball. I haven't yet seen anything like it again.

They're not much to look at as far as color goes, but they have the puffer eyes, which are just awsome. Leopard puffers are okay, they're my 2nd fave.

Just bought my first puffer--the store said it's a young dwarf puffer.  It's pea-size, kind of yellow with blackish spots and living in my 10-gal. community tank with a couple guppies.

Is anyone familiar with this kind of puffer?  Will he grow teeth?...he's really tiny now.  So cute with those rotating eyes!  ::)
