There has been an outbreak of ick in my gourami tank.  I have several large plants in that tank, that I was wanting to move to another tank.  What can I do to be sure that I wont transfer the ick to another tank? ??? Im sure my best bet is to just leave it alone, and not move them...but if there is something I can do, I;d love to know.  Thanks    ::)

I've been treating the tank for a couple days now.  I've lost one betta, one flame gourmi, and a gold ram so far...one other betta in in serious condition...I think the other will pull through it ok.  The other gourmis are looking better.  One of my snake skins has it all over him.  I also lost one bumble bee goby [glow=color,strength,width][/glow]

I agree just leave the plants alone. Ick is very easy to carry and I have had all of then get infected from one little neon I moved to the hospital tank with a pleco and he got infected and then when some of the others moved in there they too got infected.... long story.
