new toy for my tanks

I had an old projection tv and I took the lenses apart and found that one has an amazing magnifacation quality. I decided to put it in my tank and OMG the extreme close up look I get at the fish is totally amazing. the pic aint great but gives u an idea of it.

the best part is there is the focus of them go all the way to the back of the 55 gallon tank as well. so everything is perfectly clear from right at the lens to the back of the tank. not sure if I'll keep them in the tank or if I'll leave them out and just hold them by hand when I want to look at my fish closely.

The coolest thing I have seen so far is my baby mainganos. they are about 1/8 of an inch right now and only a couple weeks old. the detail that u can see on such a small fish is realy cool.

And it'll be really handy if you ever need to diagnose anything

I've thought about that as well but most things u can see with the naked eye but who knows it might end up having a more practical use later on then just entertainment.
