Well after about 4 years of loyal and reliable service I finally had to replace my filter cartridges. I am kinda happy and sad about them. the old ones missed a lot of stuff and in doing so I only had to clean them once a month if that. made for an easy schedule. but now its almost every week. really throwing my relaxed scheduling off. all in all I'm happy cause the new filters catch more but bummed at how quickly they clog.

lol nice replies. gave me a chuckle. and they are just penguin biowheels. the old ones were just to worn out. they should have been replaced a year ago or better. but i like to use things for as long as i can. just wish i could find filter cartridges without carbon so i didn't have to cut them open and remove it manually. i know alot of people find that odd but i treat my tanks with chemicals and suppliments and don't want it sucked out of the water by the carbon.
