new 20 gallon. beginner.

So, I realize this isnt exactly the most exciting tank you have ever seen. Its pretty basic. Im pretty new to this so if anyone has any suggestions, or constructive criticism, it would be appreciated!

Also, the filter on the front is from my old 10 gallon tank. It was already cycled so im using it along with the new filter to try and get some good bacteria flowing through it. Obviously, its not permanent.

Right now just a Platy, 2 platy fry, 3 black skirt tertas and a yellow snail. just the standard petsmart stuff. ha! gonna wait a little while longer then get some more stuff. any suggestions on fish? i imagine i have room for at least another 6-10 fish depending on size. the wife and i were wanting to get some glofish i think.

I'm going to suggest corydoras since I have a soft spot for bottom dwellers and they're really fun fish to watch.

I think it looks really nice! I also love that little house decoration, I'm all about decorations but they don't fit well with my tanks

thanks for the input guys! and i did move the filter to the back. it just didnt occur to me that i could remove the door to the hood and slide it forward so i could hang on the back. it was driving me crazy having it up front. im an idiot.
