Several years ago, a company made a large plastic piece that could be glued to the back of the tank and it converted it into a half tank/half dry land tank that had several waterfalls running through it. Kind of like the Tetra's viquarium but this one had a powerhead pump water to the top and water would flow down several levels, down miniwaterfalls. These were offered at a few stores and were quite expensive, if i remember correctly. does anybody remember what they were called or know where i can buy one? ??? thanks.

Sounds interesting.  Can't you just do this with just glass/plexiglass dividers in your tank?  That would be a cheaper alternative.
How about placing a smaller tank within a larger tank.  I have seen this at my LFS.  The fishes swim around the edges of the larger tank, while the inner tank holds a terrarium without water.  They place salamanders and frogs in the smaller tank.

Called a river tank by rivertank systems.

Blows away the plexi glass/slate setups.

I had it in a 29 gallon(made for up to a 55 gallon on my kit)

I have not seen one for years.
