Native Tank Stocking Suggestions?

I posted this in many places as I am really out of ideas here.

I have a 10G native, open top tank and I have NO idea what to stock it with.

Open top means no salamanders or fish/amphibians that might jump out. Live plants mean no crayfish or snails (not that I'd want snails ).

Any suggestions??

try some darters...i dont know what is native where your at though..check out NANFA.org forums for more info on native fish, they can give you plenty of good advice.

thanks Brian. I am on that forum I believe- The Native Fish Conservancy Oh no it is a different one. I will check that one out too then . Thanks.
