This was my first atempt at a filter.
it worked well untill the perspex desided to seperate from the plastic wall. this was used on my pred tank.
it ran a undergravel filter with power head and a air stone in the other tube. then the extrenal was added using suction feed line. the pump i used was from my fluval 303 or 300 i cannot remember what it was. the air stone was removed and the 1 inch hose was placed in the tube so it would draw crap from the coral base.
even with over feeding the nitrate level was 0.00.
