My Catfish has nets stuck to it's fins

We recently added a catfish to our 55 gallon tank. During the transfer it got stuck in the net and we eventually had to cut it out. It seems to be ok and is swimming around normally but it has some of the nylon net still on it's barbs. I need some advice, should I leave it alone or should I try to catch it and use a tweezers to remove the net (I am pretty confident with my tweezing skills). Please help!!!

I use to have a big 18" channel cat. when I had to remove him on a few occasions I just put some of the catfish bait all over my fingers and thumb. Once he bit down I grabbed and held on through the bath LOL!!!!! You should really remove the net if it does not look like it will fall off soon.
