The round carpet grass is glossostigma elatinoides(not sure of the spelling).

I think mine is a 5 gallon tank. That internal filter measures about 12 cm tall. Lighted by 18 W compact fluorescent. Water changed every 4 days with 1/3 of it being drained. As my office is air-conditioned 24/7, water temp remains below 25 degree celsius.
Only liquid fert is being used without any CO2. With these conditions, I managed to slow down the growth of glosso significantly and spreading out nicely. Thus sparing me the effort of trimming constantly.

Filter = Eden 340s

Substrate = Brown denerle fine sand
