I haave.....nope..they arnet good for the community.....for to reasons.

If your talking about heterandia formosa, the pgmy livebearer....they may be eaten.

If you mean gambusia affinis or holbrooki thne they are quite aggresive, like tiger barbs.

Look after htme like other livebearers, just crush tyhe food ot small size for hte pgmyies.

I've heard mosquito fish mulitply quickly outdoor. Do they breed like crazy in aquarium too? I'm just curious about this fish but I don't want to get a tank full of them.

they breed every 15-20 days but they're fry is so small it'll probably get eaten. they are one of the 10 smallest fish in the world (3/4 - 1 1/4 inches) so if you have quite big fish they will eat them ;)

Heterandia fomosa actually has pretty large fry for htee size.

I've seen female gambusia bigger than a swordtail!

Gambusia have about swordtail sized ones.......too bad they just love ot eat htem.

They are Kwazy outside in a pond.......I think I erradicated all hte ones in my pond though LOL
