either that or the other way around too. he'll take a couple of them out before the strongest females take him out. this idea doesnt really work in tanks. if you had a big shallow pond thats densely planted and heated then maybe it would work.
just do the females w/o any males. that would work a little better.

Yes, Fishman, they can. Quite easily, actually. Females are fast and agile. Males are not (unless they're plakats or other short-finned versions). Also, with that many females, they could definitely gang up on the male.
