I have recently adopted Lady Haku, and albino kuhli loach about 4.5-5 inches long.
She is at least 6 years old, and I've been told she's been "bent" into sort of an _/`\_ shape her entire life.
She can move and is very strong, but after she gains momentum thru the water, she gives up and drifts and looses balance and turns and sometimes floats funny.
I am trying to determine first WHY she is bent, IF she can live happily, and WHAT I should do to either alleviate symptoms or at least make her life comfy.
Bacterial: her 'hump' is very 'plump' and fleshy, and when I first adopted her, I was surprised by how much slime she was producing (she felt much slicker than goldfish do). I've treated for fungal and bacterial, and seen no change in the humps appearance, so I don't think it's bacterial.
