I've heard that some of the smaller seahorses can be kept in smaller tanks-does anyone know more about this? I wouldn't consider getting a tank like that without a LOT more experience, but I would love to hear from someone who does have any input on the subject.

Seahorses should be kept in a species tank. The tank should have slow currents but enough water movement for propergas exchange. A ten gallon aquarium can house 2-4 adults. However any larger size should be fine. Also make sure to be feeding your seahorse 3-5 times a day with Mysis or live Brine Shrimp.

I strongly recommend that you locate Tank Bred Seahorses(OceanRider). Wild seahorses are beginning to disappear and will probably not be collected in a few months to years.
