I know I HAD 7 adult Otocinclus vittatus (2 females, 5 males). Now I can count 9 of them! Two about 1/3 the size of the males, which makes them about 3-4 wks old. How did I miss the spawning and eggs?

If only the O. cocama would breed!

Thanks! They've spawned before 2Xs but no fry ever survived beyond 4 days or so. This group has been with me for 4 years this coming April. I've got one halfway decent pic of them on my camera, I'll post it when I can find the cord again.

Wow, adorable. And those are vittatus?? I need to get some. I might get 2 more otos when I go to my lfs on saturday. I only have 2 right now, a male and a female. The female looks plump with eggs (although they're both fat with algae) she just sits in this one spot between 2 java fern leaves and only comes out to eat. I don't know what she's doing and I'm kinda concerned. My male is out all the time, but the female hides.
