i want to get more fish in my 10 gallon... i only have 1 male guppy, 2 guppy fry, and one catfish... i was wondering is there is any freshwater fish that swim together... i love to see fish that do that... i dont want a whole school of fish, just two that will just swim around like buddies *BOUNCINGS

Like said above, cory catfish will swim around like buddies. They are fun to watch, too. If your catfish is a cory, you should get him a friend... they are really social fish.

I agree with the cory! I wouldn't get harlies unless you're going to get at least 4 or 5 of them...they are a schooling fish. They definitely wouldn't bother any of your other fish though...if you decided that a school would be nice.

As for other fish that 'buddy'...usually not a good idea. Most like to be alone or in schools. Ottos will sometimes chill together if you put two of them in a tank, mine did when I had them together :)
