I realize dog sled racing is a long way from keeping fish, but the Iditarod started on Sunday and I have been a faithful follower for years. The dogs are beautiful and great athletes (as are the guys and gals running behind the sleds) and the photos taken are absolutely gorgeous! I've always been a fan of that country and sport, although a thousand miles in sometimes below zero weather would be a real challenge. Iditarod.com or adn.com (Anchorage Daily News) will get you some good pictures and info. I subscribe to the Iditarod as an "Insider" every year so I get complete coverage and videos of the entire race - spent over two hours yesterday watching 66 participants - one every two minutes - start. *crazysmil
