I am on day 4 of my 10 gallon nano. Day one was water only setting temp, salinity, filter/pump and letting sand bed settle.
I added my live rock on day 2 and have re-arranged it probably 6 or 7 times. I did not intentionally purchase any additional lifeforms, but my live rock had 4 or 5 hermits stuck to it, I have seen a spiney star that very quickly went from my glass to some hiding place somewhere. and I also lucked into one little .25 lb piece of rock that has three different pieces of coral growing on it.
I love and hate that little rock because I can not see all three corals at once so I have to keep turning it. I have I.D.'d one most positively as a Cat's Eye Zoa Polyp. Georgious opening and closing and rising in and out of the rock. The other two are soft but I can't ID them. Here are some Picts:
Cat's Eye Polyp
What the Hell is this??????
