So my anubias nanas(sp) is now attached to my driftwood. I went ahead and split it into two plants and hope they do alright.

I'm also having fantastic luck with my java ferns. I have two large ones, and two small ones that developed from a leaf that fell off one of the big ones.

My dwarf moss died.

Thinking about trying swords for my background plant. Are they hard to care for? Or does anyone have a suggestion for a newbie to plants?

Crypts (swords) are pretty easy to care for, but they usually need root tabs - just little tablets that are fertilizers that you place near their roots system, adding new ones every couple months or so. It's super that you're doing so well with the anubias and ferns. They are lovely plants.
I think the best thing I've learned so far is to ask Orange Cones all your tricky plant questions, lol.
