Honey Gourami Breeding

#1
I have a male honey gourami left from the last batch of eggs, both its mother and father have passed away, and its color has changed from light orange to dark orange. I don't know if it is ready to breed yet, because it is still slightly smaller than its dad.:)

size don't matter on breeding. it's all based on age or development rate. as for if it's getting ready to breed or if it's at breeding age i couldn't tell you. I know pretty much next to nothing about gourami. I can see one and tell u that it is a gourami. that's my extent lol

I agree with Exhumed07. It's based on your gouramis maturity rate.(i have 2 fire gouramis in my 55 gal from my last gourami brood 2 years ago. ) Keep him/her well fed and in no time you with be ready for bubble nests again. Good luck.
