I'm planning on getting a Rena XP2 for my 40 gallon, and I want to hard plumb my set up for neatness sake.
It's hard for me to imagine how to do this without having the filter in my hands yet to look at sizes, but how should I do this? the XP2 has a detachable part that connects the hoses to the filter, so what I'm thinking is run maybe six inches of hose into a pvc pipe, then have the pipes make an intake and output into my tank. Is this okay?
What size pvc should I use, and how do I go about connecting my pcv to my Rena hoses?
