gouramis species tank

i was wondering if you sould keep a 20gL species tank without the gouramis niping eachother to death. i have a penguin 170 biowheel, and a air powered UGF for filteration. i have a 16'' bubble wand, a 4'' airstone, and a bubbling ship which are all(including the under gravel filter) powered by a pump made for a 80g tank. i need to know what species will live togather, and how many of each species i should keep.

I tried to put a moonlight gourami with a gold gourami and they nearly fought to the death! Just an fyi...

For only a 20, i suggest sticking to the dwarf varietys, how about a trio of dwarves, a trio of honeys, a trio of croaking, and a trio of sparkling?

What about mixing red gourami and pearls. I have 1 red, his partner disappeared (just vanished one night along with a couple danios) and I want to add a pearl. Am I better off getting another red an 2 pearl or is one pearl ok with the red. I also have a couple angels, tetras, and I won't mention the one blood parrot.
