Still new to this website and didn't realize I had 1 hr to edit.

Hi everyone,
I have a few questions and I will post photos and maybe a link to a video of my goldfishes and nitrite, nitrate, pH, ammonia later.

Main tank is about 50 gallons and I'm using a new, about a month old, Cascade 300 Power filter (for aquariums up to 100 gallons and pumps 300 G.P.H.) and currently not using a heater. I've used a old canister filter before changing into the Cascade filter. When I change my water, every 2-3 weeks, I do 50% water change and treat water in clean 5 gallon buckets prior to pouring it slowly in the main tank. In each bucket I treat it with Seachem Prime (1 mL), Api Stress coat (1 mL), and about a tsp of aquarium salt (dissolved in the bucket). I use Api Freshwater Master test kit to test for nitrite, nitrate, pH, and ammonia. I have total of 7 Goldfish (one of the 7 is in a quarantine 5 gal. bucket) and 3 Green Cory Catfish.

I have a feeding schedule and everyday I feed different food:
I usually feed them 2x a day and sometimes once a day.

~ Monday: Api Goldfish pellets (sinking pellets) and sometimes mix a little bit of Non- medicated New Life Spectrum Thera +A Regular Formula.
~ Tuesday: Saki-Hikari Fancy Goldfish (purple bag) and sometimes mix a little bit of Non- medicated New Life Spectrum Thera +A Regular Formula.
~ Wednesday: Veggie day. I usually feed them Omega One green seaweed. Some deshelled peas if I have some or if I feel like giving them some.
~ Thursday: Protein day. I usually pick one of these 3 choices: Omega One Freeze Dried (soaked in water before putting the individual shrimps in the tank), frozen brine shrimp, and frozen bloodworms. Both brine shrimp and bloodworms are put in a small plastic container so I can measure the amount of food that I want and I also rinse them with water a couple times.
~ Friday: Repeat Monday's food.
~ Saturday: Repeat Tuesday's food.
~ Sunday: Repeat Monday's food.

Questions:

- I have one fully orange colored comet goldfish in the main tank (2 yrs old) that has (light and darkish) orange all over it's body; it is on its scales, a little bit on its dorsal fin, and head. It does not look like it is bleeding internally (inside). Is it normal for a growing fish to have uneven color distribution? It is active and eats well.

- Then I have and fully orange colored oranda that is in a quarantine 5 gal. bucket with a airstone. The water is treated with Seachem Prime (1 mL), Api Stress Coat (1 mL), and 1/4 tsp of epsom salt. I don't have a filter (like a sponge filter) and small heater available right away. I'm ordering: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007R5M89C/?tag=myfnet0c-20
and then I have trouble finding a good Metronidazole infused medicated fish food.
I've researched up these:
- http://goldfishconnection.com/shop/details.php?productId=9&catId=5 (NOT AVALIBLE ANYMORE I THINK)
- http://www.brineshrimpdirect.com/c1/c3/medicated-brine-shrimp-flake-c197.html
- I also looked at this outdated (2011) YouTube video:

Please provide detailed suggestions and useful information. Thank you!

How often are you changing bucket-goldie's water? With no filter and a fairly large occupant, I'd look at changing out like 4g daily - good clean water can do wonders for a fish.
