Have you ever tried feeding them cucumbers? My two goldies just love it, just make sure to cut out the seeds and let them at it.

ive tried that with limited results for my particular fish. neither the swords nor the goldie actually ate the broccoli, they just loved playing with it by biting off the little bulbs.
yours might actually eat the stuff, its up to preference like i said :)

lol ya a little protein on rare annual occasions wouldnt be so bad for em :)
but w/e you do dont feed them chocolate or anything that is sweet, caffinated, or overly salty. it might just kill them. anc chocolate is downright poisonous, as with other smaller animals.

yeah I would never feed them stuff like that. It was just plain cooked turkey (or chicken...?)
And is there anything with caffine in it other than drinks? I'm not gonna go pour a cup of coffee in my aquarium and see if my fish will start acting jittery!
LOL
