Flounders?

Hey, does anyone know much about flounders? I have studied up a little bit on them because I think I might be buying one soon. I know they are nocturnal, prefer live foods, brackish water, and sand. Aside from that, I don't know much. They seem like a really cool fish though. I am a fan of the oddballs, so one of these would suit me well.

ok, besides knowledge about flounders....anyone know where i can get one? i have a couple LFS's and none of their distributors have flounders. aside from aquariumfish.net, because they only cost $4.50 there, but shipping is $20 any other places known selling flounders?

well i live in california and my friend got a flounder. it doed the next monh. he kept it with fresh watter but he got it for 20 bucks and it was about olny 1". i think youve got a good deal.
