Fish Don't Pose

I was attempting to get some good pictures of my fish. I found it a bit harder than expected, but here are my wet pets.

I like that you've go the southern end of a north-bound goldfish in the same picture. I'm going to date myself here, but "bend over, let me see you shake your tail-feather!"

lol!! Love your Goldfish man!! Especially the Panda Goldfish and, like pateceramics said, the southern end of a north-bound Goldfish. lol!! Is it a Ryukin??

I bought this whole get-up second hand and the airstone came with it.

I like orandas and lionheads myself, but I wouldn't keep them in the same tank; the poor lionheads wouldn't be able to compete with the orandas.

Yep. I want your Pearscale so bad though!! lol. My lfs sells them for $30 and I just don't have that much money for one fish.

Oh geez, they're cheap around here. I got mine for $4.99 at about 2 1/2 inches.

You're in Portage, right? I'm about two hours away in Lafayette. WE have a really good lfs called Aquarium World.

Awesome. I'm thinking about getting this awesome looking, healthy Black Moor from Walmart (his left gill is white, lol) and he loves to follow my finger!! He's adorable and After I add him, I'll get the White Cloud Minnows (should be fine with my goldfish) and a Red & White Ryukin. If I get 1 BM and 1 R&W Ryukin, how many WCM can I fit in my tank??

Yay!! I'll take him!! XD Is your Moor able to eat the food without the others getting to it first?? I'm curious if I'll have that problem, because I heard that Ryukins can be competitive with food.

Well, when I first feed them, he wants to try to chase everyone away from the food, but he figures out pretty quick that he can't actually be in two places at once and he starts eating.

My little Panda oranda has started standing up to him and when the black moor chases my pearlscale, the panda will start chasing him.

It helps that the panda has doubled in size since I got him . . . maybe even a little more than doubled, because they've all doubled in size, but the panda had done some catching up.

Awesome!! How much was your Panda?? My lfs doesn't, and never does, have any. They're kinda rare over here.

My panda was $15 at an itty-bitty 2 1/2 inches.
