Do these suckers take bites out of your plants. do they bite other fish. Do they need to be in groups? Any experiences(READ:experiences) would be helpful.

Blind cave tetras are not good fish for a community tank.  Oh, they do a wonderful job at keeping the bottom clean, they are vorocious little buggers. They also are very nippy. I've seen them harrass plecos even.  They're highly active, should be kept in schools, and personally, I don't find them a very pretty fish.
