The new tank is running just fine so far, but I've noticed there is an increase in green algae growth - it isn't far enough along to tell which kind it is. I'm not sure if it is just the new lighting or not doing enough water changes.
If I can't slow it down with regular water changes over the next few weeks, I may need to obtain additional maintenance crew. I thought I'd read that plecos (L001) are a bit territorial, and I don't want to get a second fish that is going to grow larger than four or five inches for the purpose of algae control... so what are my options?
