Hi folks,
I've heard that there are some ethical considerations when creating a saltwater reef tank.  Namely:  People destroy natural habitats to gather corals and other specimens....  Does anyone have any opinions on this?  Where can I find more info. about this?

Yes there are destructions but I think the best bet is to buy livestock from coral farms or get some frags from other reefers.  Some online store also sell aquacultured rocks so it doesn't damage the reef system.
That is, just place a slab of concrete on the bottom floor and things will grow real quick and you can sell some live rock.
