Ok I have my little 10G with Cabomba, Ambulia, and Hygro in it.  They are all growing like crazy.  There is not a whole lot of room for the fish in their right now so I am guessing they need to be cut. How should I go about it? Where on the plant should I cut?  I was planing on putting the cuttings in my 55G because I am starting to like live plants.

with stem plants, what u want to do is cut off the top, remove the bottom and replant the top.

if your plants are healthy, you'll see roots growing all along the stem. just make sure there are roots where u are cutting.
