I have a betta in a 10 gallon with five neon tetras and a dwarf frog. He hasn't shown any aggression so far--but he's building a bubble nest and I've heard they can start hunting down possible egg or baby eaters when they do that. Should I be worried?

I'm not intending on letting him breed, but he has his dreams. :p

uuum... well, when I kept my male with a platy they were peaceful... until he built bubblenests... he chased the palty and nipped the platy's fins... no real harm was done, because the platy got dropsy after I put meds in the tank to help grow back his nipped fins... he died from the dropsy. Since then I haven't had any fish with the betta unless you count a female while the tank was divided.
