Botia splendida

I've been looking for this Botia ever since I've seen it in an artical.  Any one have an idea on where I could get a couple??

Thanks,  I've tryied my LFS with no luck yet.  I looked at aquabid.com,  didn't find find any, but found some other stuff.  Thanks for the link it's a good source.

From what I've read, B. splendia is a newly discovered, very rare species. It's also nearly indistinguishable from B. caudipunctata.

Are you looking for it because of the novelty of the species, or just because it's cool looking fish? If it's just the looks, I'd go with Botia caudipunctata, it might be easier to find.

I am sorry but what are Botia species? New to the fish world. Are they a Cichlid family?
I was reading the article on Snail removal and it mentioned this species, so I will try any natural way of getting rid of the snails!!!
