Hi, i got this from ebay at a nice price of £60 delivered with an heater air pump and filter, the centre piece and white stones and light in the hood. Also had the background picture. (do u think this is fair as i've seen them cheaper laterly)

i went out and bought some plants and some gravel and had it filled up of water with the air pump and filter and heater running for a week before adding fish as directed by local Pets At Home.

we was told the tank was 108 litres but it took 90 litres to fill it to a decent level....how many fish would you think was a maximum number to have in there?

I can spot max of 7 fish lol, kinda hard to see in there.

you know if you left it 1/2 to 2/3 full (just so that the top stump portion is out of the water) you could turn this into a mean riparium

Nice! Some plants would look good on either side of the root, it would look natural (Vallisneria would look awesome!)

I'll google "Vallisneria" to see what they are like.

i have about 10 live plants - "red indian ferns" i think they are called floating on the top.

newman....what did you mean by "cycle it"? im new to the terminology lol

just googled Vallisneria -

theres quite a few different types of Vallisneria out there.
look pretty similar tbf and i agree they would suite the tank.
