Hi everyone, I'm very new to the aquarium world and I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I have a 10 gallon tetra bow tank it has been cycled 6 weeks now and has been completely stable across the board. I introduced 5 red cherry shrimps and three real plants a Pygmy sword , anibus, and three small moss balls. I have had no issues at all as I introduced everything very slowly but recently my alkalinity has dropped to 40 but my PH is 7.2 , nitrate/ate is zero and all other tests were normal range. My question is should I be worried about the low alkalinity as I'm about to add some fish very soon? Thank you for any help in advance.
