This is for anyone who's been thinking about putting bamboo in their fish tanks. PetSmart has really marked down their plastic bamboo. I have some in my tank and it looks really nice. Everyone is always asking whether it's real or not, it's so realistic. Anyway, here's the link:

also... any one looking to put bamboo into a tank invest in the fake stuff. i have tried using real bamboo and it just got mushy and boosted my nitrates! granted im not notorious for a green thumb, but the fake stuff looks great and you dont have to worry about it turning to mush!

And my husband wanted the tetras, we didn't realise they were dyed when we got them. I returned them the next day.
