help i have got 3 baby platies these were spotted about 6-8 weeks ago but i only have one platy an have done so for over a yr could it of interbreeded with another fish of mine i have 2 blue dwaf gourmi 1 fighting fish 3 minnows and tetra (i know it wont be the tetra) how have i got these fish all of which have survived and are doing great i just want to know where they have come from x

So you only have one adult platy and at some point that single platy gave birth?
Had to be pregnant when you got it, or sometimes (I believe) they can store all the goods to get pregnant some time down the road.
As much as I enjoy platys, this is why it's good to get only males, or only females. You will become OVERRUN with them if you keep males and females.
