So I was uploading photos to flickr for another thread and I came upon a picture that I wanted to share with you all.
The story goes like this: When I find hitchhiking snails in my tank I crush them and feed them to the fish. When my girlfriend finds one she nurtures it and makes it a new pet. So recently she found a small snail and has added it to her list of buddies. Soon after finding him/her/it, we discovered that the snail was able to crawl on the underside of the water surface!
Sorry about the picture quality, it was really small when I took it and I was in a rush to capture the moment before it crawled back onto the glass. It's been about 2 weeks since I took that picture so the snail is bigger now but it's still able to crawl on the top like that. I'm assuming that eventually physics and gravity will get the better of it and sooner or later it won't be able to do that. Anyway, I thought it was cool, hope you enjoyed it too!
