I JUST GOT A 8 INCH SIVER AROWANA AND SO FAF SO GOOD, WELL ITS LASTED LONGER THAN MY BLACK ONE DID. WHAT DO YOU GUYS FEED YOURS AND ANY TIPS WELCOME

TIP #1: Must have BIG BIG tank.

As you are probably aware these fish are monsters and get really big.

yes i know my tank is quite big its 5 feet by 2 and half feet by 1 and half feet, so it should be ok for a while.

feeder fish, and anything else that can fit in its mouth. Maybe start a 20 gal live bearer tank for a food farm.

Conman's fish farm is a good idea. I would use something like plates or guppies. Although, guppies might not be big enough and you might get to attached to the plates! Anyway, if you breed your own fish for your prededory fish, they are so much healthly and you run a low risk of infection. Have we discussed this before? Maybe I am repeating myself, oh well, a post is a post!

Thanks i been thinking of starting a feeder tank as i have a fresh water barracuda and all he will eat is live fish, so i will have to look at what its going to cost me and get some money to start the feeder tank.
