My CanoScan LiDE20 was cheap, and generally it’s a good scanner… but it is not very good for scanning these BGS / PSA style slabs… so please understand the scans are not of super high-quality, but the card slabs are MINT and protected inside “Clam Shell” holders since they were sent to me by BAP.

These “He Shoots, He Scores” Redemption Prizes were only available by collecting 400 HSHS Points, which were seeded one “point card” per pack, each one representing 1, 2, or 3 points. A complete box of Parkhurst Retro usually yielded about 40 points, so collectors needed to open 10 boxes of Retro to save up enough points for ONE Redemption Prize! The redemption deadline for these was March 31, 2004… so these cards have been out-of-print for over one year!

Redemption Points were hot sellers on eBay last winter as people scrambled to get up to 400 HSHS Points to redeem for ONE card. I acquired 12,000 points, enough for one of each of all 30 cards! Points sold for $0.20 per point, so 400 points @ $0.20 = $80 US per card! So think about it… a complete set of these costs me $2400 US to finish! There was one catch… these were redeemed in order that the 400-point collections were received at BAP, and the sets of 30 cards were redeemed in order… i.e. card #HSHS-1, then #HSHS-2, until they got back to #HSHS-1… so you were taking your chances on what player you would receive! In my auctions, you know what you’re getting!

30 different “Prizes” were made, and each one of those 30 was limited to 20 copies of each. I have *ALL* 30 “Prizes”! I say again… I have what I believe to be the WORLD’S ONLY COMPLETE SET (Read: 1/1). Further to that, each and every one of my 30 cards is serial numbered “08/20”. These cards are “NOT PRICED DUE TO SCARCITY” in Beckett Hockey Magazine as Beckett does not price anything with Print Run of less than 20! WOW! This is a 30-CARD COMPLETE SET, MATCHING SERIALS, 1/1. So here’s your chance to bid on all 30 cards that were produced, all with matching serial numbers!

If someone out there is interested in acquiring the COMPLETE SET, let me know and we’ll work something out! Please note that I *STRONGLY* prefer PayPal, but I will accept payments via snail mail if you ask me first and your feedback is “good.”
