We've been eyeing a 3.5 inch Electric BLUE thats been at LFS for months in a tiny stock aquarium <5 gal :/. We have a ten gallon available but would this be big enough? Just him by himself. We have a 36 gal cichlid tank but its already slightly overstocked and they're only about 1-2 inches each so we don't want to put the big one in with them. We plan on getting another African Cichlid tank (probably at least a 55gal) we could move him to around Christmas but this is not a definite thing. Advice?

I would wait until you get the 55. It's not much better in a 10g than a 5g, and usually lfs have big sumps so small tanks can hold more than they appear, and if someone gets to him before you, be glad he got another good home *twirlysmi
