Minimum Tank Size: 55 gallons
Temperature: 72-79F
Diet: Carnivore
Level of care: Medium
General Notes: This fish is a lively,peacable schooling fish, the males territorial at spawning time only. The spawning of this fish are hidden, dark places. Breeding may be difficult in the aquarium. The compatibility of this fish have better chances if it is mixed with Cichlids from the same region.

Pros:	This fish is beautiful and doesn't really bother anyone of similar size.
Cons:	He is a cichlid. They like to bully angelfish and other less aggressive fish.

i have one of these fish and love it. The bigger it gets the more color he develops. They aren't very impressive as jueviniles.
